The 12th meeting of the EU-Georgia Civil Society Platform was held on 17 November 2023 in the European Social and Economic Committee(EESC) Brussels, Belgium. During the meeting, a debate focused on assessing the implementation of the priorities outlined by the European Commission and the state of implementation of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement/DCFTA.


The 12th meeting of the platform was opened by Mateusz Szymanski, EU co-chair of the CSP, a member of the European Economic and Social Council and the co-chairman of the platform, Kakha Gogolashvili, director of the Center for European Studies at the Rondeli Foundation.

The Platform also discussed the digital transition in Georgia, as well as legal and practical issues of labour migration in Georgia and in the EU. At the panel “the Digital transition in Georgia”


The meeting also discussed the progress of Article 14 of the Association Agreement, which concerns employment, social policy and equal opportunities with special emphasis on: labor safety and health; Gender equality; Social security.
