The 12th meeting of the EU-Georgia Civil Society Platform (CSP) was held on 17 November 2023 in the European Social and Economic Committee(EESC) Brussels, Belgium. The meeting was opened by the co-chairs of the platform, Mateusz Szymanski, member of the European Economic and Social Council, and Kakha Gogolashvili, director of the Center for European Studies of the Rondel Foundation.
During the meeting, a debate focused on assessing the implementation of the priorities outlined by the European Commission and the state of play of the implementation of the EU-Georgia Association Agreement/DCFTA. The Platform also discussed the digital transition in Georgia, as well as legal and practical issues of labour migration in Georgia and in the EU.
At the end of the meeting, the participants received a joint declaration/announcement.
