Georgian National Platform of Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum is deeply concerned about the practice that the justice authorities are establishing in Georgia in the name of combating hate speech.

Examples of punishment for expressing an opinion on social media raise a well-founded suspicion that the current law and its enforcement practice are increasingly being used to control citizens’ opinions and suppress critical positions towards the government.
