On February 19, 2018, a meeting was held in the Parliament of Georgia between the Chairperson of the Committee on European Integration, Ms. Tamar Khulordava, and the Georgian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum.

The meeting was attended by the Chairperson of the Committee, Ms. Tamar Khulordava, as well as the Chairperson of the Georgian National Platform, Ms. Ketevan Vashakidze and members of the Coordination Council.
There is already experience of cooperation between the National Platform of Georgia and the Committee on European Integration, however, the purpose of this meeting was to deepen cooperation and establish common visions, as well as to determine the future plan of cooperation.

The Chairman of the Platform noted that the members of the Georgian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum and the Coordinating Council are satisfied with the existing cooperation between the Platform and the Committee and suggested that the recommendations Which are taken into account by the Committee, to be reflected in the level of statistics. This will help to show civil society that this collaboration is not just about sharing and sharing information.

During the meeting, Ms. Tamar focused on the part of the platform activities related to sending recommendations by the platform members regarding legislative changes. “Your opinions and recommendations help us a lot in the process of preparing conclusions. I am glad that this institution of cooperation exists,” said Ms. Tamar Khulordava.

The Chairman of the Committee on European Integration informed the representatives of the National Platform about the planned event, at which the Committee will present an annual report and action plan and representatives of the member organizations of the Georgian National Platform will have the opportunity to participate.
