On May 6, Europe Day was celebrated in the exhibition centre “Expo Georgia”.
The Georgian National Platform had an information stand at the event. We hosted more than 2,000 guests. Recent research, informational cards, stickers, and presents by member organisations disseminated among visitors. We have provided information about the structure and activities of the platform.
The main part of our activity was the questionnaire “What is Europe for you?”. The visitors who came to our information space, in the form of small notes, recorded their perceptions regarding Europe, and their notes were collected on our exhibition “Pamakela”. As a result of the analysis of the received answers, it was revealed that for the majority of guests, Europe is associated with freedom, new opportunities, justice, equality and receiving a decent education.
