On July 26, a meeting of the member organisations of the Georgian National Platform with the President of Georgia was held. The purpose of the mentioned meeting was to provide the president with information on what processes the coalition is involved in and how the work of the platform continues in relation to the recommendations provided by the European Commission.
During the meeting, the coalition members described the process created with the legislative authority. The member organisations of the platform are involved in the functioning of the working groups, which are gradually created to implement the issues mentioned in the 12-point recommendations. They also talked about the initiatives of the platform and the intensity and strengthening of its functioning.
It was clearly mentioned by Mrs. President that it is important for the platform to present its own view on the issues related to the 12-point recommendations and to schedule another working meeting to discuss these thematic proposals.
