Members of the Coordination Council of the Georgian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum met with the President of Georgia.

The parties discussed and agreed on how to conduct a joint process in the coming months to implement the agenda recommended by the EU for Georgia by the end of the year.

Close communication and cooperation with civil society is now paramount. One of the points of the recommendations is to ensure the broad involvement of civil society.

For their part, the members of the Coordinating Council spoke about the activities of the platform and presented their visions on how they can take steps towards significant results within the given 6 months.

“It is important that we can, and in this period, show our friends and partners that Georgia stands firmly on the European path and is moving forward.”
