The conference “European Choice of the Georgian People – Challenges and Future Perspectives”is being held in Tbilisi. The conference will discuss the reforms, which should be carried out, that Georgia was able to do in 2024 to join the European Union.

The discussions are attended by member organizations of the Georgian National Platform, the Prime Minister of Georgia and the Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, the European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, the Head of the EU Delegation, MEPs, Co-Chair of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum.

The conference will address thematic issues related to the way towards 2024, judicial and judicial reform, the process of polarization and political crisis resolution, the challenges posed by the pandemic in the tourism industry, and reconciliation policies.

A joint annual high-level conference is held on the basis of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Georgia and the Georgian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum in 2015.
