On February 6, the 3rd Working Group of the Georgian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum hosted NGOs from Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan. organizations visited Georgia in order to get acquainted with the activities of civil society
The meeting at the Information Center on NATO and the European Union was attended by the member organizations of the third group. The parties discussed in a dialogue format environmental issues, public participation, gender equality, intersectoral relations and other issues of interest to NGOs in all three countries.
Turkmen and Azerbaijani NGOs visited Georgia with the support of the Canadian Embassy in Turkey and the Global Water Partnership. The project aims to increase women’s involvement in the field of environment and climate change (for example, water resources).
