Today, on August 1, at the NATO and EU Information Center, on the basis of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Georgia and the Georgian National Platform, a meeting was held between the member organizations of the Georgian National Platform and the head of the Pension Agency.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia:
• Archil Karaulashvili – Head of the General Directorate of European Integration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia
• David Bujiashvili – EU Assistance Coordination and Sectoral Integration Department. Pension Agency Representatives:
Levan Surguladze – Head of the Pension Agency
• Magda Kotrikadze – Head of the Public Relations Department of the Pension Agency.

Representatives of member organizations of the Georgian National Platform were present at the meeting.

Within the format of the sectoral meeting, the Head of the Pension Agency, Mr. Levan Surguladze, spoke about the current situation in the Pension Agency. The discussion focused on the reform that came into force on January 1, 2019. Levan Surguladze informed the audience about the progress of the reform, informed about the existing results. Plans for future cooperation were defined at the meeting and readiness was expressed to hold active working meetings in the future.
